This is a video that was presented by one of my fellow classmates in my “Development of Self as a Nurse” class. I found this video very touching and very heartbreaking at the same time. This video has made me realize how much more important the role of a nurse really is. I knew that a nurse is a rewarding career but I didn’t realize how a nurse really touches one’s life. That is something I have always wanted; I’ve always told myself that the field I will get into will is something that will make a difference in someone’s life. Nursing is exactly everything I want in a career. Now more than ever I want to go out there and help the people in need.

Hi, I read your article on "Nursing Shortages" and I really enjoyed reading it. Although I am not a nurse or a nursing student, I definitely agree with you that Nursing is a rewarding career. The shortages of Nurses is becoming a big problem especially in countries like Canada. We need more nurses. For me I think nurses are not just nurses that work in hospitals but they are also family members. I'm glad that you've chosen the right path for your future. Keep it up!!!

Wow the video was sooo good. Really in my deliveries the nurses were always there to provide comfort and support. Inshallah you will make a great nurse and touch so many lives.
